Hold the hat in an inside grip, crown up. Throw the hat as you would for a single-spin tumble to the same hand. However, instead of allowing the hat to spin all the way around, give it a sharp upwards slap when the crown is upside down (halfway through the spin). This will reverse the spin. Catch the hat with an inside grip when it has spun back to a crown-down position.
Follow up with an Forward Tumble for extra fluidity.
