Hold the plate vertically below your right hand. Move your hand clockwise so that plate starts to move upwards, then release it and move your hand back underneath it so that it rolls across back of your hand. Grab it as it rolls of the other side. You can reverse this with the Reverse Hand Roll , and linking these two together gives the Double Hand Roll |
Henrik's Hernia |
Hold the plate by the edge, reach behind the back with it and throw it backhanded across your belly. Reach around your back with your other hand and catch it there. It helps if you lean back a little so the plate is thrown diagonally, not horizontal. |
Shoulder Roll |
Hold the plate vertically in your right hand. Throw it backwards so that it lands on your shoulder and rolls down your back. Catch it with the other hand. You can also throw it from your back, roll it upwards over your shoulder and catch it in front of you. |
