The tricks have been broken down into categories of similar moves:
- Turnovers - where the plate gets turned over.
- Balances/Traps - where the plate is balanced, held or trapped.
- Basic Throws - Simple throws that are used for the trick throws.
- Trick Throws - Tricks where the plate gets thrown.
- Rolls - where the plate is rolled on it's edge.
- Curls - where the plate is curled.
- Edge work - where the plate is gripped by it's edge to be manipulated.
- Multiple plates - working with more than one plate.
- Miscellaneous - all the ones that don't fit into other categories
